Happy Thanksgiving everyone! It’s time for a long awaited blog update. On September 27, I had the honor of filming a very special fundraising event at Fenway Park. The event was a benefit for Roseann Sdoia, one of the victims of the Boston Marathon bombing. I think it’s safe to say that the event was a total surprise to Roseann, who walked into a very large group of friends and family at the Park Street Pavilion at Fenway Park. There was live music by local band Karate Show, more music from DJ Adam “O” Jaena with White Label DJ’s, food provided by Aramark, an awesome Ro-Strong cake with matching blue and gold cupcakes from Party Favors in Brookline, a step and repeat photo op with the (then) two World Series trophies provided by Robert Balducci Photography, a photo booth with lots of fun props by Harbor City Photo Booths, and a live auction moderated by State Representative Tom Golden. There were also videos from Matty of the Matty in the Morning Show on Kiss 108, Kevin Spacey, and an animated video by Georg Pedersen at Drawn Stories. The event was a huge success. If you’d like to make a donation to Roseann, head to www.gofundme.com/roseann. I’d like to extend a special thanks to Jim Lescault at Amherst Media for the donation of additional equipment that allowed us to be able to film this event. Also thanks to Candace Johnson who was my B-roll camera operator for the night. The full length video of the event can be seen below. Make sure to check out the awesome photos by Jill at Jilly Bean-Photography and Heather at Heather Best Photography.
